I hope you all are having a beautiful week so far. Stopping by with love.

Hi there! With the holidays here, I wanted to acknowledge that I know sadness, anger, and longing can creep in. Please, please do not bury those feelings. If you don’t have any support around, please love on yourself. Lean on the word of Christ, step outside, buy yourself something that you’ve had on your list, and make a comforting meal. Anything that makes you feel warm, set that as your go-to. You don’t have to carry things alone. You could even go as far as making a list of all of your accomplishments this year. We get so caught up in searching for what’s next or dreading tomorrow. We forget that the Lord has been blessing us all year round. Breath in your lungs is a blessing. Opening your eyes is a blessing. Even if it’s straining to breathe, straining to open your eyes and endure another day, may your burdens be lifted and your joy restored. May peace, comfort, and strength guard your home.

To those who are joyful about this season, please check on your community. Spread your love and your joy. Your compassion, humility, and hospitality that God has placed in you will never go unnoticed. Your smile and laughter can move mountains you didn’t know were in reach. With so much going on in our world, our time and connection could lead to more healing. We’re all in need of something.

May rest and stillness bring you comfort.

Philippians 4:7 ESV- “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
